A soft pouch keeps your glasses tidy. It does not keep them safe. Astore Lens is built as a box, because the only thing that stops a frame bending under a laptop is a wall that refuses to move.
The shell holds its form. A soft pouch collapses around your frames the moment something heavier lands on it. This one keeps its shape under a laptop, a book, or the weight of a full bag. The lid curves over and closes with a flap, opening wide enough to lift the glasses out one-handed. Inside, the walls are lined in soft suede so nothing touches a lens on the way in or out.
The name comes from the Astore Valley in Gilgit-Baltistan, the road travellers take on the way up to the Deosai Plateau. It is a place people pass through on their way to a view.
